New Flat Rubber EPDM Roof - Quinton, Birmingham

Project Scope

Supply and install EPDM rubber roof to replace the existing garage roof and as part of a new 4m wide extension.

Project Detail:

As P L Construction Group, we were approached by the client to supply and install a new EPDM rubber roof to replace their existing failing flat garage roof as well as roof the new 4 metre full width rear extension.

Full details of the extension project can be found on our Phil Lester Construction website. We created a deck to accept the new rubber roofing, which included a furring strip to enable sufficient fall for the rain to run off. We then laid a ply deck on top, followed by a flat roof specific insulation. The EPDM rubber cover is then fitted atop that and sealed using the relevant HERTALAN® method. As platinum plus installers, we have access to a range of different technology and will discuss the most appropriate method for your new flat roof before we embark on the project.

A key element to this particular client's brief was the supply and installation of the roof lantern. We were able to source the required design from one of our reputable and trusted suppliers and this was fitted by us within the roof structure. The client is delighted with the overall finish, which is our ultimate goal with any project we undertake.
